Our School

JCMIS aims to prevent and protect the little buds of today amidst this rural environment. We believe that these buds will blossom tomorrow with all their colors. Apart from providing them with an inclusive education following the CBSE curriculum, we here at JCMIS also encourage them to participate in various extra-curricular activities.

JCMIS is a co-educational English medium school in Sagar Island. Our school also gives importance to the vernacular languages apart from English being the first language taught.

Co - Curricular Activities

Our School aims at developing confident, all-rounder students with capabilities and the spirit to reach for the sky. The curriculum provides a rich variety of co-curricular activities, which we consider not extra but an essential part of a child's education.

Academic Curriculum

The school has the distinction of providing integrated scheme of education in keeping with the New Poilicy of education. The school is following the curriculum prescribed by the CBSE and is based on the guidelines established by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi. As per CBSE guidelines, the school is following the grading system as introduced by CBSE in all the classes. CCE scheme is followed which not only includes scholastic areas but also co-scholastic areas of life skills, attitude and values, sports and games as well as co-curricular activities. The CCE scheme aims at addressing this in a holistic manner.

The Campus

JCMIS has a very clean and green campus with a large playground for the children. We have well equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, activity areas for students, airy classrooms and corridors.

Transport Service

When we consider transportation for kids, we prioritize the matter of safety. Kids using our transportation system in JCMIS are not only ensured to safely travel to the school and back, but we also take care of the fact that every student feels comfortable within a friendly atmosphere while taking the transport. During the course of transportation, we keep an eye on the wellness of each student and accordingly provide updates to the authorities and families whenever concerns arise.
